Step 1 of 4: Size
Enter the finished outside dimensions your screen needs to be. Measuring an existing screen that fits correctly is the best reference. Fit and clearance requirements vary by window manufacturer.
Inches, in 1/16″ increments. Enter fractions or decimals: 24 1/2 or 24.5.

Step 2 of 4: Frame
Choose a frame profile
Match the thickness to your window’s screen channel: 5/16″ standard or 7/16″ heavy. Both have a 3/4″ face. The thicker profile must still fit your window.
Step 3 of 4: Mesh & corners
Compare mesh
Black fibreglass: the standard mesh option.
Pet-mesh: a heavier mesh option. The drawing shows its thicker strands; it is an illustration, not a photograph of visibility or airflow.
Compare corners
Mitred: angled frame ends meet at the corner, joined by internal keys.
Poly-corners: square-cut frame ends fit into plastic corner pieces.
Step 4 of 4: Pull tabs & springs
What do tabs and springs do?
Pull tabs give you a grip when removing the screen. Compression springs help hold it in a compatible screen channel. Match the fittings your window uses.
When both are selected, the pair of springs goes on the edge opposite the tabs.

The Leo Hardware Cut-to-Size Window Screen Kit is a replacement window screen cut to your exact opening size in our shop. Enter the width and height to the nearest 1/16", choose the frame profile, colour and mesh, and add pull tabs if you want them. Each kit ships with the painted aluminum frame lengths cut to size, the mesh, corners and spline, and assembles with a spline roller. Often called a custom window screen, replacement screen kit, or made-to-measure screen.
