The Truth Hardware (AmesburyTruth) 11498 keeper is the keeper for Truth's Mirage concealed multi-point locking system on casement and awning windows. One keeper screws to the sash at each locking point, and its UV-resistant acetal roller meets the Mirage tie bar on the frame: turning the handle drives the tie bar, which catches the keeper rollers and locks the window in sequence from the bottom up. Truth rates the Mirage at .625" (15.9 mm) of pull-in and an average of 245 lbs per locking point in forced entry testing. The keeper is high-strength steel, E-Gard coated, and non-handed. Often called a lock keeper, multi-point keeper, or roller keeper.

The same keeper is used in every Mirage layout: two or three locking points, a single locking point, a single point with a driver mechanism, and awning windows. It works with both Mirage locks, the 16.60 (solid wood stops) and the 16.61 (extended stops or vinyl windows). Truth's application drawings show which way each keeper faces for sequential lock-up, so note how your old keepers face before removing them.
