The Truth Hardware (AmesburyTruth) 14.05 casement window hinge is an adjustable concealed hinge from the 14 Series, supplied fully assembled with a 10" (254 mm) non-magnetic stainless steel track and heavy gauge steel support arms protected by Truth's E-Gard coating. Mounted out of sight between the sash and frame, it keeps exterior sightlines clean and adds tamper resistance, while the Delrin shoe with its stainless steel reinforcing insert gives a self-cleaning action in the track for smooth, low-maintenance operation. A stop on the support arm keeps the window from opening past 90°. Often called a casement hinge, window hinge, sash hinge, or concealed hinge.

The adjustable brass snap stud — antique plated for quick identification in the field — corrects sash drag without disconnecting the support arms: using Truth's slim-line wrench (part 31887), the sash can be re-aligned up to .062" (1.5 mm) toward the outside of the sash and .031" (0.8 mm) toward the jamb while the hinge stays fully assembled. The snap stud also allows quick installation of the sash into the frame, and the 90° stop meets Truth's recommendation for casement windows driven by Dyad operators. For casement windows only — a snap-stud hinge must never be used on an awning window.
