The Truth Hardware (AmesburyTruth) 14691 is a right-hand snap stud bracket for casement window operators, finished in E-Gard coating. It mounts on the sash, and the operator arm connects to its stud. It is used with Truth 15 Series, Maxim and Encore operators. Truth's E-Gard multi-stage coating has been tested at roughly three times the corrosion resistance of common zinc-plated finishes. Often called a sash bracket, operator bracket, or link arm bracket.

It has the same dimensions as Truth's 12511 stud bracket, which Truth specifies for the 15 Series Ellipse Dyad (15.18, 15.26, 15.30), Encore Dyad and Encore Dual Arm operators. This is the right-hand bracket; part 14690 is the opposite-hand version.

Match the hand to your old bracket, not just to the window. Truth sets bracket handing with the stud pointing up and reverses it when the bracket is mounted inverted, so the hand of the bracket does not always match the hand of the operator. On Truth's 15 Series Ellipse Dyad drawing, the same window takes one hand of bracket in a wood sash and the opposite hand in PVC or aluminum.
